Reconstruction and Development took place in 1994 when the white paper on Government Strategy of Fundamental Transformation was published,

Certain points in this paper were aimed at uplifting a community that  lives in squatter camps, moving them out of these dismal circumstances and giving them houses  with running water , sanitation , electricity . A basic house with a solid roof over there heads.

NO hot water or a bath is provided.

The white paper also requested industry to “develop new , more efficient and cheaper products to meet basic needs”

This is what we have done and now can offer the community very affordable running hot water and a bath at a fraction of what it did cost.
